張亞琇
自學畫家張亞琇從2020年旅居英國封城期間開始創作至今。擁有文學與廣告創意背景的她，善於發想創作點子，作品裡帶著天馬行空的幻想。過去旅居英國多年的經驗也為她的作品注入歐式優雅的時尚感。目前主要創作媒材為油畫和水彩，並積極嘗試複合媒材。
創作主題有《 萬事有魚 You Little Fish 》、《 超現實動物園 SurReal Zoo》 兩個系列，探討自由、自我形象與社群標籤等議題。
Artist Biography
Yashow CHANG, a self-taught Taiwanese artist who got inspired by the creative hustle and bustle of the U.K. environment and started creating her works during the lockdown in the spring of 2020. Specifically interested in capturing the aura of people and animals with a fantasy vibe and literary metaphor.
亞琇認為一幅好的畫作或展覽應該像一本書，不僅帶來美的感受，還能提出問題或想法引發觀者思考，因此期許自己能帶著問題意識進行創作。
亞琇雖然沒有受過美術學院的訓練，但在旅居英國近五年的期間，她大量在歐洲參觀各式展覽、參與藝文活動，培養出自己的審美觀。其中，她曾經堅持每週參與人體素描寫生活動長達三年，奠定出扎實的素描功底。
